Kanha Tadoba Tour

Day 01: Arrival Jabalpur/Nagpur - Kanha

It is the first day of tour package. On arrival at Jabalpur or Nagpur city, surface transfer to Kanha National Park using air-conditioned taxi. Both the cities are well connected by flights & trains. If you wish to do some shopping like battery, memory cards, money exchange etc., you can do so in Jabalpur. Once we cross Jabalpur city, we will find small villages and forested areas. After 90 kms, we will pass by Mandla town. On reaching Kanha National Park, relax in resort and do the necessary preparations for photographic safaris. Here at Kanha, safaris remain closed for evening safari drive on every Wednesday. One can also do bird watching in & around resort compound.

Day 02: Kanha National Park Safaris

Do morning & evening safari. Begin the day with morning jungle safari, followed by afternoon safari in Kanha Tiger Reserve. Here safari tickets should must be booked in advance as limited tickets are issued and mostly gets sold out in advance. During safari, you will be accompanied by safari guide who will help you in search of your subject for photography. In addition to tigers their is lot more to see in Kanha safari like rare Barasingha, Indian Gaur, Sloth bear, Sambar, Wild Dog, Leopards etc.

Day 03: Kanha National Park - Tadoba National Park (360kms/07:00hrs)

Do morning safari and later drive to Tadoba national park. Begin the day with morning safari drive. After returning back from safari, drive to Tadoba national park. This will be long drive as Tadoba tiger reserve is located in Maharashtra state and we are expected to reach our resort till sunset.

Day 04: Tadoba Jungle Safaris

Do morning & evening safari drives. Tadoba national park is more popular for tiger sighting thus wildlife photographers prefers to visit this park. It is in Chandrapur district which lies in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. This region in comparatively dry but once we enter into park, we will notice more greenery than near by resorts. Due to dry region, rarely we will find swimming pools in resorts. Here alcohol or liquor consumption is banned, as per government rule so do not expect beer or liquor drinks and also don't carry during trip. Here we can easily spot tigers, sloth bear, Indian gaur, spotted deer etc. Due to presence of lakes, we can also spot crocodiles in lake sides.

Day 05: Tadoba Jungle Safaris

Do morning & evening safaris. In this day of tour package, we will continue our safaris and try to catch more wildlife moments. Here also we highly recommend advance safari tickets booking. Here more local visitors experienced on weekends i.e. Saturdays & Sundays and ticket charges are also double on these days. At Tadoba national park, camera fee is not pre-paid so need to be paid at entrance gate, as per dimensions of camera.

Day 06: Tadoba - Nagpur (180kms/04:00hrs)

In this day, after having breakfast, drive to Nagpur for departure.
