DAY 01: Arrival Delhi

On arrival at Delhi, meeting and greeting by Indus Excursion representative, he will assist you on transfer to hotel. Do local sightseeing of must see tourist spots of bustling Delhi city.
Delhi city has many shades to watch. Local sightseeing tour of Delhi can be divided into two phases: in first phase visit Old Delhi area which covers Red fort, Rajghat (place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated), Jama Masjid (mosque), rickshaw ride of Chandini Chowk, Humayun Tomb etc. .

DAY 02 : Delhi - Jabalpur (By Flight) - kanha indiaKanha

In morning, get ready to board flight for Jabalpur airport. On reaching Jabalpur city, drive to Kanha National Park (165kms/04:00 hrs). Take evening game drive.

DAY 03 : Kanha National Park

Take morning and evening game drive in Kanha Tiger Reserve. If tiger sighting will located then we may have chance for elephant ride for Tiger Show.

DAY 04 : Kanha to Kawardha (130kms/04:00hrs)

Take morning drive to Kawardha. On reaching Kawardha, check-in to the Kawardha-palace. After lunch, proceed for visit to sarodha to watch evening sun-set. Later in the evening share the experience of Royal family of Kawardha.

DAY 05 : Kawardha

Do full day sightseeing of Kawardha. Visit famous Bhoremdeo temple. They are also called Khajuraho of Chattisgarh state. It is perfect blend of religious & erotic sculpture. It is dedicated to lord shiva and was built in between 7th to 11th A.D. Just 1km away from Bhoremdeo is Madwa Mahal. It is known as the memorial of the marriage of Nagvanshi king and Haihaivanshi queen. Madwa in local language means Marriage stage. It was built in 1349 A.D. by Nagvanshi emperor Ramchandra Deo. Its outer wall depicts 54 erotic sculptures in different poses.

DAY 06 : Kawardha - Kanker (250kms/05:30hrs)

Begin the day with transfer from Kawardha to Kanker via Raipur city (250kms / 06:00hrs). Transfer journey will be through countryside sceneries, shows glimpse of rural life-style with innocent faces gazing you with innocence in their eye. Although tribal people are not so beautiful from outside but are very nice and helpful from inside, their eye make us feel from inside as they are trustable person. It is suggested not to value their help in monetary terms as sometimes it makes them feel small and hurts their self-respect. On reaching Kanker, check-in to heritage hotel.

DAY 07 : Kanker

At morning, proceed to visit Keshkal ghats. View of green trophical forest from top will be amazing. Later move to nearby tribal village Bahi-gaon(gaon means village). Here we will visit local market/s in which we can view handicraft work of local tribal people. Such markets are often referred as “Haat” or “Bazaar”. Such rural local markets offers a platform to local artists to earn their livelihood by offering their artistic handy work to visitors and for local villagers it is to platform where they can purchase their daily use items and offers pleasant change from routine lifestyle as urban people use to do by visiting restaurants/coffee house/shopping malls. Handicraft items offered in such “Haat” markets are wooden-crafted items etc. We can also find such items in metro-cities markets in the name of antique handicrafts at high price. .

DAY 08 : Kanker - Kondagaon - jagdalpur tourism chattisgarhJagdalpur (250kms)

In morning, get ready for drive to Jagdalpur (250kms) by doing enroute visit to Kondagaon.
Kondagaon is on the way from to Jagdalpur at a distance of 50kms. It is known for its shilpgrams (village of artists), tribal handicrafts such as bell metal art, wrought iron work, terrocota, wood craft, bamboo craft etc by tribal people. After leaving Kondagaon, we will proceed for Narayanpur town in west of Kondagaon at about 50kms.
Narayanpur is famous for its Madai(tribal fair). Madai is a temporary market organized by villagers from neary-by places offering their products to visitors and amusement activities like tribal dance are also organized. It is a public gathering function for marketing & enjoyment. Here one can also find finely designed wooden handicrafts, dress materials, metal crafts, bamboo items, tribal ladies make-up items many other items/products that are derived from available resources. We can have chance to watch cock-fight also if it will be SUNDAY.

DAY 09: Jagdalpur

Do excursion tour to Kanger Ghati (Ghati means Valley) National Park is located in Bastar district at south of Chattisgarh state in Central India. National Park is home of many wildlife mammals and birds. Commonly seen wildlife species are mouse deer, tiger, leopard, wolf, Gaur, wild-dog, flying squirrel, crocodile etc. It was established in 1982 and is about 25kms from Jagdalpur. Places to visit in park is Kailash caves, Kotumsar caves, Dandak caves etc. These carve are known for natural formations of stalactite and stalagmite. Kanger river is the main river of the park. Visit Tirathgarh fall and have lunch their. Best time to visit falls is in rainy season i.e. July to November. Tiratgarh is close to these caves and its height is 300 ft.

DAY 10: Jagdalpur

On this day first visit Chitrakote waterfalls called Niagara fall of India. It is on Indravati river and about 38 kms from Jagdalpur. This horse-shoe shaped fall is considered as the best one in India. Here Indravati river falls from a height of 100 ft. into a cavern. At its best time, the mouth of the waterfall is 1000ft. wide. Best time to visit is July to October i.e. during rainy season. With time in spare, visit to Antropological Museum which reveals life & culture of Bastar tribes. It is on the way to Chitrakote falls.

DAY 11: Jagdalpur - Raipur - Delhi

On this day, we will start our concluding journey towards Raipur to board flight for Delhi / Mumbai. On reaching Delhi Airport, you will be transferred to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 12: Delhi - Departure

On reaching Delhi railway Station (New Delhi / Nizamuddin), move to hotel for refreshment. Day will be at leisure, we may continue to visit popular destinations in Delhi like Akshardham Temple & other ones or visit New Delhi, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. His prominent works are President house, Indian Parliament, India Gate etc. Later in evening. drive to Delhi International Airport to board flight for home.
